Morris Inn at Notre Dame

I’ve always been curious about notre dame so it seemed like a good idea to stop there for the night. My son and I were driving from Boston to boulder so south bend was a convenient stop. The hotel is immaculate and the staff super responsive. What was really interesting was walking around the campus to the grotto as the campus is beautiful, spacious and well designed. It was a quick overnight stay, breakfast and coffee at the cafe in the hotel and fully rested for the next leg of the journey.

Have stayed at Ritz and upscale properties. This is probably best place I’ve stayed. Staff wonderful. Room great. Only issue is that 2 Queen beds was so much more expensive than King. So sleep not good with King. Normally 2 Q is $15 to $ 20 more in most hotels. Not $80.

I liked the warm greeting, availability of free bike usage, cleanliness and design, room size, and comfort, location, and the restaurant. They have a great coffee shop with a pastry inside the hotel, I had the key lime pie cupcake..fantastic.

I didn't eat breakfast, was that available? I loved that service seemed to matter. I travel quite a bit and have had horrible service over the last few years. The Morris was a breath of fresh air! Absolutely loved my stay.
